Cycling allows you to step off the usual well-trodden tourist trails and take a more sensitive approach to the environment, and it is the ideal way to get about if you want to see places that you couldn’t reach by any other means of transport. At the Antica Locanda Luigina we welcome cyclists and provide a bike room equipped with everything required for repairs and mechanical breakdowns, a bicycle storage facility with restricted access, and a changing room.
The hotel also offers a laundry service for sports clothing; another advantage of staying with us, if you like to get around by bike. Our cycling facilities are also available to guests who arrive at the hotel without a bicycle; bicycles can be hired by advance booking and deciding which route you intend to follow.
The hotel has an arrangement with DeepBike (http://www.deepbike.com) company that organises guided tours around the local area and which can be adjusted to suit the ability of participants (beginner, basic or expert).

If you’d like to discover the typical wines of our region, we offer the opportunity to take part in two free tastings at the cellars of Lunae di Paolo Bosoni and Cornice in Val di Vara. As part of a guided tour of the cellars you will meet the producers and find out how the finest Ligurian wines, such as the Colli di Luni Vermentino and the Golfo del Tigullio Passito, are created.
Participants must arrive at the cellars by their own means; please contact us to arrange a visit and taste the finest products from our local vineyards.
Restoring and regaining your equilibrium is the first step to preparing for new experiences; request an in-room massage by our experienced staff, who are skilled in a variety of specialist treatments. The service is available daily between 15:00 and 20:00; booking is required.

If you’ve always wanted an adrenaline experience out in the wild, our Rafting offer will blow your mind; you won’t be able to resist joining in to discover this new concept in activity holidays in Liguria. We can offer rafting sessions at the adventure sports centre in Brugnato and supply all the equipment you’ll need for the activity.
The offer includes: 2 nights with 1 breakfast included Your choice of lunch or dinner with a sampling of our speciality dishes, 1/4 bottle of wine, 1/2 litre water and coffee Transport by shuttle to the rafting base at the Brugnato adventure sports centre (9.00 am); return to the hotel by shuttle (13.30) (Due to directives related to Covid-19, the shuttle service is temporarily suspended). Afternoon free to visit our beautiful valley and the charming villages along the Riviera. Equipment provided by the centre: neoprene suit, waterproof jacket, life jacket, helmet. Requirements: a fleece or microfleece, wool socks, trainer-type footwear (all these clothes will get wet), towel or bathrobe, slippers, change of underwear.
Arrival is scheduled for 10:00, equipment and clothing will be allocated in the changing rooms at the base, followed by a theory lesson and a dry run. Transfer to the embarkation point is scheduled for approx. 11.15 followed by water tests and the descent. Disembarkation at the rafting base is scheduled for approx. 13:30.
The cost of the Rafting offer is €120 per person and is available only when conditions are favourable for making the descent. There is a discount of €15 per person for groups of over 10. Enjoy the thrill of adventure, come and try rafting on the river Vara in complete safety.
